Steven Hess serves as the chief information officer of UCHealth. In this role, he focuses on creating and refining a consolidated, enterprise information technology solution across UCHealth\u2019s 12 hospitals and hundreds of clinics in Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska.<\/p>\n

His interests include digital patient experience capabilities, health information exchange, advanced clinical and research analytics, personalized medicine and virtual health.<\/p>\n

Previously, Mr. Hess was chief information officer for UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital, where he led a multi-pronged implementation of the Epic electronic medical records and Lawson enterprise resource planning solutions. He has also served as vice president and chief information officer at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware.<\/p>\n
