Talk to your primary care provider or call our clinic directly to get a referral for a sleep study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Home sleep study<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-lab sleep study \u2013 these studies are conducted at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchealth.org\/locations\/uchealth-sleep-lab-central-park\/\">UCHealth Sleep Lab \u2013 Central Park<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drug-induced sleep endoscopy (DISE), a test where a flexible telescope is inserted through the nose to figure out exactly where the obstruction is happening during sleep.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Iron deficiency test<\/li>\n\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"treatments\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Treatments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a id=\"\" href=\"\/diseases-conditions\/sleep-apnea\/\"><strong>Continuous positive air pressure (CPAP).<\/strong><\/a> The first line of treatment for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). CPAP involves a mask that uses air to open a patient\u2019s airway so they can breathe better during sleep. Inspire consists of a breathing sensor and stimulator with a small battery that\u2019s surgically implanted and delivers a mild electrical charge to key muscles to keep your airway open during sleep.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sleep surgery.<\/strong> For OSA patients with documented CPAP failure, sleep surgery may be an option.
