Remarkable advances have been made in recent years in our understanding of the causes of these diseases.\r\n\r\nIn addition, several new drugs have recently been approved by the FDA for the treatment of these diseases, and many other therapies are in active development.\r\n\r\nThe Glomerular Diseases Clinic at UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital was developed to integrate state-of-the-art clinical care, patient education, clinical trials, and basic research focused on glomerular diseases.\r\n\r\nOur clinic treats all forms of glomerular disease, including IgA nephropathy, lupus nephritis, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), membranous nephropathy, ANCA-associated vasculitis, anti-GBM disease, and minimal change disease.\r\n\r\nOur multidisciplinary team includes specialists from nephrology, renal pathology, rheumatology<\/a>, and immunology. Through this clinic, providers collaborate on clinical studies of new treatments for glomerular diseases and basic research studies into the causes of glomerulonephritis.\r\n\r\nEducational activities include meetings for patients and their families, continuing educational forums for clinicians, scientific conferences, and scientific publications.\n\n\n
