We are happy to prescribe birth control pills, patches, rings and shots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"pregnancy\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pregnancy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will follow your pregnancy from your confirmation visit up to your 6-week postpartum visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For OB patients requiring a C-section, our physicians and surgical staff will ensure a \u201cnatural\u201d C-section experience at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchealth.org\/locations\/uchealth-birth-center-yampa-valley-medical-center-steamboat-springs\/\">UCHealth Birth Center- Yampa Valley Medical Center<\/a>. New moms will have the opportunity to bond and have skin-to-skin contact while still in the operating room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center also offers a level II nursery, which means if a baby is doing well enough following a premature birth, they may be able to stay in Steamboat Springs if they are born after 32 weeks. We are able to keep complicated pregnancies close to home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yampa Valley Medical Center also has a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchealth.org\/locations\/uchealth-birth-center-yampa-valley-medical-center-steamboat-springs\/\">lactation specialist available<\/a> for new moms 24\/7 in addition to our Lactation Club and childbirth classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"infertility-testing\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Infertility testing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UCHealth Women\u2019s Care Clinic \u2013 Craig offers a wide variety of infertility testing for patients. We offer follicle studies, lining checks and intrauterine insemination.
