For patients, this means a seamless transition through their entire burn and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchealth.org\/diseases-conditions\/frostbite\/\">frostbite<\/a> recovery.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Inpatient Burn Center hours: 24 hours a day.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Outpatient Burn Clinic hours: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday \u2013 Friday.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2>Burn and frostbite conditions we treat<\/h2>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchealth.org\/services\/burn-care\/\">Burns<\/a>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchealth.org\/diseases-conditions\/chemical-burns\/\">Chemical<\/a><\/li>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchealth.org\/diseases-conditions\/electrical-burns\/\">Electrical<\/a> (including lightning strikes)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Thermal<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Drug rash with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Frostbite: Frostbite patients receiving our innovative t-PA protocol had a digit amputation rate of 2% in 2014, compared to 31% amputation rate for patients who do not receive t-PA.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Necrotizing fasciitis.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Soft tissue diseases (Darier&#8217;s Disease, epidermolysis bullosa, pemphigus vulgaris).<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Stevens &#8211; Johnson syndrome.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Toxic epidermal necrolysis.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2>The advantage of our multispecialty team<\/h2>\r\nAt the UCHealth Burn and Frostbite Center &#8211; University of Colorado Hospital, a team of medical specialists work together to treat your unique burn and frostbite conditions.\u00a0 These teams are made up of surgeons, registered nurses, burn technicians, psychiatrists, and pharmacists. Additional staff members include social workers, caseworkers,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchealth.org\/services\/nutrition-services\/\"> nutritionists<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchealth.org\/services\/rehabilitation\/\">physical therapists and occupational therapists<\/a>.
