To provide you with the highest quality in health care, we require all patients who undergo elective procedures with anesthesia to be screened in our pre-admission clinic. This is to prevent any delays or cancellations on the day of surgery and to identify and provide optimization of your health prior to your procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Call <a href=\"tel:719.272.3600\">719.272.3600<\/a> to schedule your pre-admission appointment if your doctor\u2019s office has not done so already.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>During this appointment:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A registered nurse will review your health history, medication and any other pertinent information related to your upcoming procedure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The nurse will provide education on when to stop eating and drinking, medications, required pre-op showering and specific instructions based on your health history and procedure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any lab work or testing may be completed at this appointment.<\/li>\n\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"insurance-and-billing\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Insurance and billing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our hospital participates with many different insurance companies.
