LONGMONT, Colo. (May 10, 2017) \u2013<\/strong> UCHealth already has filled about 100 positions and is poised to fill another 200 positions to staff UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital <\/a>when it opens at the end of summer.<\/p>\n

\"A
UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital has been under construction since Spring 2016 and is expected to open at the end of Summer 2017.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Many of the candidates for these positions will take part in a hiring event from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, May 15, at Best Western Plaza Convention Center, 1850 Industrial Circle in Longmont.<\/p>\n

At the Longs Peak Hospital Interview Event, hospital leaders will be meeting with qualified candidates for a variety of positions, including the following specialties:
\n\u2022 Laboratory (medical lab scientists, histotechnologists and ancillary health technicians)
\n\u2022 Obstetrical technicians
\n\u2022 Radiology
\n\u2022 Registered nurses for the following units: Labor and Delivery, Intensive Care Unit, Medical\/Surgical, Post-anesthesia Care, Operating Room
\n\u2022 Sterile processing technicians
\n\u2022 Stationary engineers
\n\u2022 Environmental services technicians<\/p>\n

The new 210,000-square-foot hospital on the northwest corner of Colo. 119 and County Road 1 will open with more than 50 inpatient beds and room to grow. Focused on providing advanced care close to home for residents in the greater Longmont area, the hospital will feature an intensive care unit, operating rooms, a Level III trauma center and emergency department, advanced cardiac services, a birth center with a Level II special care nursery, an ambulatory surgery center, a retail pharmacy with extended hours, laboratory and imaging services. In addition, Longs Peak Hospital patients also will gain access to advanced treatments, complex surgeries and innovative clinical trials across the entire UCHealth system.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
