Photo courtesy of UCHealth.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The gift will be invested in innovative medical equipment and will expand the types of surgeries performed at MCR, allowing patients to stay close to home for these delicate procedures.<\/p>\n<p>To commemorate the gift, members of the Hach family, PVH and MCR Foundation board members, and hospital leadership and staff joined together recently to dedicate MCR\u2019s fifth floor outdoor deck as \u201cThe Hach Landing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The deck is a favorite place for patients and staff to go for a break and relax in the fresh air. The majestic view of Longs Peak provides inspiration and respite.<\/p>\n<p>The location of The Hach Landing is meaningful to the family because of its proximity to Hach Company, established in 1947 by Clifford and Kitty Hach, and the Northern Colorado Regional Airport. As a pilot, Kitty Hach felt the meaningful inscription on the dedication plaque would benefit others for years to come: \u201cWhere healing, aviation and generosity culminate. You are invited to slow down, stop, rest and reflect.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe deck is a place where patients and their families can find peace. The serenity of the mountains and the starry night sky offer a place of reflection. I, myself, have experienced the importance of the deck, providing a place to slow my mind when faced with a significant injury,\u201d said Ryan Rohman, interim vice president and chief operating officer of MCR and UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LOVELAND, Colo.
