Photo by UCHealth.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Cementing a longstanding partnership, Pikes Peak Regional Hospital (PPRH) will join UCHealth later this spring, ensuring patients in Woodland Park, Teller, Park and El Paso counties continue to receive the very best health care.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement was signed on Feb. 1, and PPRH and their employees will officially join the UCHealth family in early April.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPikes Peak Regional Hospital provides essential services, close to home, for patients in Teller and Park counties. These are the same as UCHealth\u2019s values, which is why we\u2019re confident we will have a bright future together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>PPRH is a critical access hospital with 15 licensed beds and about 120 employees. UCHealth Medical Group and UCHealth Memorial already collaborate with PPRH, providing numerous specialists and services at PPRH including cardiology, neurosurgery, oncology and telestroke.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur top priority is providing the very best care, close to home, for patients throughout the Pikes Peak region,\u201d said UCHealth Memorial President and CEO Joel Yuhas. \u201cBy working together, Memorial and Pikes Peak Regional Hospital will be able to enhance the services currently available in Woodland Park, while improving the experience of patients who need advanced care or specialists in other UCHealth locations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>PPRH will remain a major employer in Woodland Park, benefiting the local community and improving the overall health of residents throughout Teller County.<\/p>\n<p>As a nonprofit health system, UCHealth is dedicated to the communities it serves.
