Residents of the city and county of Broomfield and beyond now have access to additional health services closer to home, with the opening of UCHealth Primary Care Clinic-Broomfield<\/a>. The new location is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, providing patients access to UCHealth\u2019s full network of care including hospitals and advanced medicine. The clinic accepts same-day appointments, treats adults and seniors and will be adding family medicine services in April. Primary care services will be provided by expert physicians from UCHealth Medical Group for everything from preventive care and health maintenance to chronic condition management.<\/p>\n

For patients who need additional services, we provide a seamless transition into UCHealth\u2019s broader network of nationally recognized experts and locations.\u201d<\/p>\n

UCHealth Primary Care Clinic-Broomfield offers online scheduling and email access to providers. The clinic connects patients\u2019 electronic medical records with UCHealth\u2019s \u201cMy Health Connection\u201d online portal, offering patients access to their health care anytime, anywhere. Patients may log onto the portal online<\/a> or through the UCHealth app to email their doctor, renew or refill a prescription, view test results, request an appointment, receive appointment reminders and view their medical record.<\/p>\n

\u201cRoutine visits with a primary care doctor are the key to maintaining and improving your health,\u201d said Dr. Gregory Ambuske, who is caring for the community\u2019s patients at UCHealth Primary Care Clinic-Broomfield. \u201cThrough regular preventive care screenings and physicals, we assist patients in learning how to lead a healthier life and catch problems early before they become more serious. We coordinate care with specialists as needed, keep an eye on all medications that a patient might be using, and recommend changes in diet or lifestyle to promote longevity and wellness.\u201d<\/p>\n
