Should a patient sustain an injury, this data is then utilized during rehabilitation to show practitioners how the athlete is progressing with therapy and return to their sport.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTechnology continues to advance the way we care for athletes of all abilities, and we\u2019re looking forward to giving our patients another tool to assist in their rehabilitation,\u201d said Mary Beth Strotbeck, director of rehabilitation services at UCHealth SportsMed Clinics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to expand our partnership with UCHealth at Yampa Valley Medical Center and provide the Physimax experience,\u201d said Physimax co-founder and COO David Kahani. \u201cPhysimax provides a personalized, sport-specific experience utilizing that sport\u2019s unique risk factors and performance requirements, which allows the insights and workout program to be more personalized than ever to every athlete.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>UCHealth first deployed Physimax at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchealth.org\/locations\/steadman-hawkins-sports-physical-therapy-and-rehabilitation-denver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UCHealth Steadman Hawkins Therapy and Rehabilitation Clinic<\/a> in Denver and is working with the technology in research development.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UCHealth SportsMed Clinic in Steamboat Springs is now partnering with Physimax to help skiers and other athletes optimize recovery time from injuries quicker while improving performance at the same time.
