For the eighth year in a row, U.S. News and World Report ranks UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital (UCH)<\/a>, located on the Anschutz Medical Campus<\/a>, No. 1 on its list of the state\u2019s best hospitals. The hospital is also ranked among the nation\u2019s best in seven specialties including No. 1 in pulmonology & lung surgery and No. 10 in endocrinology.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to being named the nation\u2019s top hospital for respiratory care, UCH\u2019s specialty of cardiology & heart surgery moved significantly higher to No. 30 on the national list. \u201cUCH offers experts who are among the best in the nation at treating cardiac conditions like adult congenital heart disease, heart failure, heart transplant, pulmonary vascular disease, cardiac electrophysiology and valve disease,\u201d said Dr. Jean Kutner, chief medical officer of University of Colorado Hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n

UCH is nationally ranked in seven specialties, including the No. 1 ranking in pulmonology & lung surgery (lung and respiratory care), a distinction UCH shares with National Jewish Health. Other ranked specialties include:<\/span><\/p>\n
