Grandview Medical Center brings specialists and primary care doctors to the Grandview campus. Photo: Chuck Bigger.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>A rehabilitation center with a view<\/h2>\n<p>On the third floor of the Grandview Medical Center, a new rehabilitation center for patients who need rehabilitation is open.\u00a0The outpatient rehabilitation program, which benefits those who need to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent or limit disabilities, offers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Occupational therapy<\/li>\n<li>Physical therapy<\/li>\n<li>Speech therapy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Specialized programs include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ergonomic consultations<\/li>\n<li>Fitness training<\/li>\n<li>Hand therapy<\/li>\n<li>Incontinence treatment<\/li>\n<li>Lymphedema management<\/li>\n<li>Manual therapy<\/li>\n<li>Trigger point dry needling<\/li>\n<li>Vestibular therapy and fall prevention<\/li>\n<li>Vital stimulation treatment for dysphagia (difficulty swallowing)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Joe Foecking, director of rehabilitation services for UCHealth Memorial Hospital, said that &#8220;The center is focused on specialty programming to help people restore function and ability. Improving access to medical care for patients in southern Colorado is our goal &#8212; and we&#8217;re thrilled to be able to work alongside our orthopedic colleagues creating a focused plan for rehabilitation and recovery for patients who visit the UCHealth Grandview campus.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re providing access to primary care, specialists, a hospital, an emergency department and outpatient therapy in a very convenient place,&#8221; Ritchie said. &#8220;We know that parking at Grandview is great; there are no parking challenges.
