Beginning with the 2016-2017 season, UCHealth will become the preferred health care partner of the Nuggets, Avalanche and Mammoth. UCHealth will work in conjunction with team doctors to provide the best care available to the athletes. Additionally, through the partnership, the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Mammoth and UCHealth will team up to bring special sporting event experiences to life for Colorado residents facing serious illnesses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUCHealth provides nationally-renowned specialists, advanced treatments and expert medical care, but whenever possible, we want our patients to stay healthy and out of our hospitals,\u201d said Elizabeth Concordia, president and CEO of UCHealth. \u201cThat\u2019s why UCHealth has a unique focus on preventive care and improving the health of the communities we serve.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>UCHealth is a Colorado-based nonprofit system of five hospitals, more than 100 clinics and 15,000 employees.
