This is awarded only to facilities that rank in the top five percent in Avatar\u2019s national database with the highest combined score for inpatient, outpatient, emergency department and ambulatory surgery.<\/p>\n<p>PVH earned the Exceeding Patient Expectations Award, which is awarded to hospitals that are exceeding expectations for the patients who are surveyed. The award is based on patient expectation about quality of care, reliability and customization before the visit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am fortunate to work with some of the most compassionate and committed employees, physicians and volunteers,\u201d said Kevin Unger, chief executive officer at MCR and PVH. \u201cThere have been a lot of changes in health care in the past couple of years, including several in our own organization. These honors demonstrate that our patients still come first. We strive to provide exceptional care to every patient, every day \u2011\u2011 and we always will.
