The new hospital will be the anchor of a $185 million health campus on approximately 22 acres southeast of U.S. 34 and 71st Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s all about providing excellent care close to home,\u201d Schock said. \u201cWe have a lot of people from Greeley and throughout Weld County, including the eastern plains, who currently utilize our services. Through the new hospital and health center, we will be able to provide a higher level of services in Greeley, closer to patients\u2019 homes and families.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The campus also will feature a health center with comprehensive outpatient services. Schock will work closely with leaders from UCHealth\u2019s medical group \u2013 Colorado Health Medical Group \u2013 as that project gets under way.<\/p>\n<p>Schock, a graduate of Colorado State University, began her health care career as an occupational therapist at McKee Medical Center in 1986. She served in leadership roles at Banner Health facilities, including director of rehabilitation services, regional director of managed care operations, executive director of Mountain Shadows Medical Association and associate administrator at both McKee Medical Center in Loveland and North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley before her placement as chief executive officer at McKee in 2009.<\/p>\n<p>She always has been deeply involved in northern Colorado communities. She served as the chair and is currently a board member for the Loveland Chamber of Commerce Board and currently serves on the Sunrise Community Health Board of Directors, Go NOCO Board, the Larimer County Boys and Girls Club Board and the Larimer County Food Bank Board of Directors. She was a 2012 co-chair for Larimer County United Way and previously served on the Greeley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
