En tiempos en los que la esperanza casi se pierde y nuestro país está dividido, hay una cosa que lo mantiene todo unido; héroes. No importa lo que una persona crea, no importa lo que una persona hizo, no importa, siempre estás ahí y nos tratas a todos durante una pandemia global que nos puso de rodillas. Cuando caemos, estás ahí para levantarnos, y por eso, te agradezco desde el fondo de mi corazón. Cada persona es un héroe en el equipo de atención médica y su coraje nos inspira a todos.

To think that as while I’ve been sitting inside isolating that you’re out in the streets helping and saving our community quite literally blows my mind. Even if it doesn’t feel like it all the time, you are a hero. With all the superhero movies that have come out in the past decade people have forgotten what a real hero is. Real heroes don’t fly around the city with superpowers shooting things. Real heroes help other people in times of need at expense to themselves. I want you to know that you are loved and appreciated in our community for all of the hard work you’ve done and continue to do. In doing this work you save our lives at the risk of yourself. Though it’s a debt that can never be repaid, know that there are people out there who love and support you for the work you do. Take solace in the fact that we’re on our way through the storm, and that even if it’s foggy, I see the shimmering wave of light at the end of the tunnel. Once again brave citizen, Thank you.
