YOu are the first system that honors the patient. That the patient knows thiery body more than anyone else. So when a patient talks about what they are going through, you LISTEN!!!!!
My hope that is you can influence the other medical culture to accept this philosophy fro the very beginning of health care.

This past year with having two nurses in the family who work in hospitals, one in Maryland
and the other in Virginia. I wanted to say THANK YOU to not only to each of them but the
entire front lines of medical professionals, who have been non-stop this past year across
America, the states, cities, and small-town communities who are forever grateful for your efforts.

I dedicate this poem I've written to each of you, for your dedication and you're endless
efforts in fighting this pandemic.

God, I know life will get better.

I have faith in the future; to fuel my day.

Thank you to the ICU Registered Nurses who take care of the COVID 19 around the clock and are in the rooms. Yes the Docs are there to intubate/put in central lines/write the orders, but the RN’s are doing the majority of the work for patients. ER docs triage and send the ICU patients to the RN’s to take care of these patients 24/7! So let’s give credit where credit is do. Thank you Nurses.

Dear Healthcare Worker,

I wanted to take the time to thank you for your commitment during this unprecedented time. I greatly appreciate your efforts to help keep us safe and healthy. Your presence on the frontlines has been essential to help curb the spread of the virus. I hope that during these next few months, things will slow down and you will be able to take care of yourself. But, in the meantime, I hope you know that we are all very grateful for your hard work and dedication to your patients.

Thankfully we have some great people!!

This COVID-19 crisis isn’t the 1st time you were heroes. I have been a part of the infusion patients for 9 years now and these nurses shared wisdom, laughter, crassness when needed and love. They give everything they have while they work and it doesn’t go unnoticed. I can’t imagine what all of the Doctors, nurses and the staff are going through in this overwhelming time but I can say... it does not go unnoticed. You are loved. You are appreciated. Not because your perfect but because even though your not, you are trying to be for our nation!!! IT DOES NOT GO UNNOTICED. With much love and thanks for all you do.

We appreciate all you are doing more than words could ever express. May God grant you the rest of body, the calming of your mind and blessings on your life for you deserve these things for all you have been doing. Our prayers we lift up for you
