Thank you to everyone working in the UCHealth system. I know it has to be a challenging time for all of you. I spent my first time in my life in a hospital this year. It was a hospital that is part of UCHealth. Even though it was during the pandemic, I felt safe and well-taken care of. Thank you for going above and beyond every day. It is appreciated so very much. Here is a pic of me at the end of my hospital stay.

My husband was discharged from Memorial Central yesterday after 12 days on the 4th floor Covid unit. The doctors, nurses, lab techs, respiratory therapists, environmental services, radiology, nutrition services and more saved his life. He's finally home and unfortunately I'm sick with Covid, but we are together again. The hospital staff work tirelessly putting their own lives and those of their families at risk to care for not just the surge of Covid patients but all patients. Life is fragile and we are so grateful.

I want to thank all the people, the supply folk, the dietary, reception, laboratory, radiology, respiratory therapists, nurses, doctors, bosses who get out and work with the staff, counseling, case management, office staff, sterile processing, pharmacy, operating room staff, PACU, nurses aides, volunteers (I know I have missed some!) Thank you for being there for our patients and families.
