Dear UC Health staff,
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts! Thank you for being a loved one when others can’t be there in person. Thank you for making miracles happen. Thank you for doing everything you can when miracles aren’t possible. Thank you for caring for, cleaning and feeding people in their darkest hour... and all the other jobs you do to keep the hospital on track. Thank you for the tireless hours and emotional stress you must endure. Thank you for putting your job and love for people in front of your understandable fears. We are thankful for you this holiday season!

Thank you for your tireless service. Our healthcare workers are going above and beyond at a time when many seem thankless by their actions. I hope you realize how grateful this community is. I’m not a patient just a grateful citizen.

Thank you for taking care of my mom earlier this month. Even with all the precautions she still got Covid. You were amazing at helping her and we're all so grateful in our family.

I want to thank all of the healthcare staff for showing up each day knowing what they are going to have to deal with in the course of that day. These Covid patients need you to help them fight their battle and to give them as much comfort as possible when they are going to lose their battle. I can to come through the drive through at Memorial North for a COVID-19 test. Iv interactive with two lovely people who went out of there way to treat me beautifully as they car after car were exposed to various germs. Bless you each one!!

I moved away from COS recently for school but still have family in the area. I chose not to travel to be with them this holiday season due to the pandemic and am instead having a zoom holiday.

I know COVID-19 probably feels overwhelming right now and you are feeling exhausted and burnt out, but I just wanted this message to be a reminder to you that there are people out there that are taking this seriously.

People care about you. I care about you. Please remember to take care of yourself. <3

I have the ability to stay home so I do. When I do have to go out, I wear a mask and sanitize when I return home. It’s the only thing I can do to help healthcare workers, SO I DO IT.

I read the article on kktv.com "...Colorado ICU nurse exhausted as hospitals are filling up" posted on reddit. Though I've never used your services, and have only briefly visited Colorado, know that my family and I are daily and fully appreciating your efforts and sacrifice during this trying time. Back in April, we sent some extra N95 masks we had on hand to a family friend who is a nurse in Maryland, and we've kept ourselves on isolation since early March.

With vaccines coming out, hopefully the end is in sight, and we will continue to keep you in our meditations.

I live in California, and even though I'm far away, I'm grateful for what you and all healthcare workers are doing. I wear a mask every time I walk out the front door, and I don't remove it until I walk back in again. Know that some of us are doing our part.❤️
