Dear UC Health staff,
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts! Thank you for being a loved one when others can’t be there in person. Thank you for making miracles happen. Thank you for doing everything you can when miracles aren’t possible. Thank you for caring for, cleaning and feeding people in their darkest hour... and all the other jobs you do to keep the hospital on track. Thank you for the tireless hours and emotional stress you must endure. Thank you for putting your job and love for people in front of your understandable fears. We are thankful for you this holiday season!
- M
Thank you for your tireless service. Our healthcare workers are going above and beyond at a time when many seem thankless by their actions. I hope you realize how grateful this community is. I’m not a patient just a grateful citizen.
- M
Thank you for taking care of my mom earlier this month. Even with all the precautions she still got Covid. You were amazing at helping her and we're all so grateful in our family.
- C
I want to thank all of the healthcare staff for showing up each day knowing what they are going to have to deal with in the course of that day. These Covid patients need you to help them fight their battle and to give them as much comfort as possible when they are going to lose their battle. There is a special place in heaven for each of you. I understand how many difficulties you are facing daily. Thank you so much for being a professional, and even more so, a good human being.
- M
I can to come through the drive through at Memorial North for a COVID-19 test. Iv interactive with two lovely people who went out of there way to treat me beautifully as they car after car were exposed to various germs. Bless you each one!!
- K
Please continue fighting with and for those of us needing your help. Each of you is STILL my hero helping where most of us cannot. God bless you and save you 😍😷💋🎄
- P
You are all ROCK STARS! Thank you for your sacrifices and for your hearts of servitude. We owe you more than we can ever give but know you are making a huge difference in our lives! God bless you all!
- D
Thank you for the amazing care that I received in the Emergency Room. I received such amazing, professional and dedication from the Nurses, ( Brittney, Conner and a handsome male nurse). Thank you for saving my life.
- M
Thank you for your hard work and long hours. We will get through this!
- B
Thank you so much for what you're doing!

I moved away from COS recently for school but still have family in the area. I chose not to travel to be with them this holiday season due to the pandemic and am instead having a zoom holiday.

I know COVID-19 probably feels overwhelming right now and you are feeling exhausted and burnt out, but I just wanted this message to be a reminder to you that there are people out there that are taking this seriously.

People care about you. I care about you. Please remember to take care of yourself. <3

Thank you for working to keep us safe and healthy, and for risking your own health to do so. You are so, so, so appreciated. Sending all of my love and thoughts.
- K
Thank you for being willing to work during such a difficult time. You are heroes!
- A
I'm so so sorry for everything you all have to go through. Remember that even though you are seeing a lot of people die, you are also saving lives. I don't live in CO, but I am a native and have been pushing my family hard to be safe. Thank you for your work.
- L
We appreciate all of the health workers who take part in our care. Happy Thanksgiving!
- B
Hi to all the great people who chose to do remarkable work through this pandemic! This is above and beyond your stressful jobs that you normally have! Thanks heroes!
- J
Many heartfelt thanks to everyone for the work you all do! Words cannot express our gratitude. Lots of prayers and hugs sent to all of you!
- C
I currently have a very dear friend in ICU on a ventilator . I love him and cannot see or talk to him. Your presence and caring is greatly appreciated! Thank you all for taking care of my loved one. His name is Tony and if you have taken care of him, you are an angel. Keep up the good work and stay safe!
- S
May the Lord be at your side as you assist those in their greatest need. God bless you! Thank you!
- S
I have the ability to stay home so I do. When I do have to go out, I wear a mask and sanitize when I return home. It’s the only thing I can do to help healthcare workers, SO I DO IT.
- L
I read the article on kktv.com "...Colorado ICU nurse exhausted as hospitals are filling up" posted on reddit. Though I've never used your services, and have only briefly visited Colorado, know that my family and I are daily and fully appreciating your efforts and sacrifice during this trying time. Back in April, we sent some extra N95 masks we had on hand to a family friend who is a nurse in Maryland, and we've kept ourselves on isolation since early March.

With vaccines coming out, hopefully the end is in sight, and we will continue to keep you in our meditations.
- D
We appreciate you! Thanks for all that you do!!!
- D
I live in California, and even though I'm far away, I'm grateful for what you and all healthcare workers are doing. I wear a mask every time I walk out the front door, and I don't remove it until I walk back in again. Know that some of us are doing our part.❤️
- B
Thank you all for your sacrifice and long hours caring for our community! My husband was sick and near death last Spring. Miraculously, he made a complete recovery due to your expert care. God bless you! P.S. Can you get an alert system pushed out to people's phones warning when you're at or nearing full capacity?
- M
Thank you for everything you are doing. You truly are the heroes our community desperately needs. Your skipped meals, double shifts, and sacrifices aren't in vain. Stay strong and safe!
- M
Short and sweet. THANK YOU!
Your community is grateful!
- J
I just wanted you to know that a lot of people in the country see and hear you. I work in a school so I at least get some of it. You are a hero who deserves praise of the highest kind. Hang in there
- A
Here's wishing some quiet moments when you can gather your thoughts and be open to all the appreciation and gratitude sent your way. Deep breaths here, and thank you.
- R
Thank you for everything you do. In your line of work, I can’t imagine any of this being easy, and I pray for your safety and peace of mind. God bless you.
- N
As the widow of a retired RN, I know the sacrifice and dedication you demonstrate everyday. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all...stay safe and strong. ❤️
- J
Thank you for your tireless efforts on our collective behalf. We are being as careful as we can be every day and not getting together for holidays in an effort to minimize your crushing work. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
- C
Please keep up fighting for us. I wear my mask everywhere and stay home as much as I can. I work at a restaurant which is terrifying but, I bleach the shit out of everything anyone touches. I try to do my part and appreciate that you guys are working incredibly hard. Where it was written families say good bye via iPad, has me in tears. I can’t even imagine.
- J
Thank you for your daily dedication to the patients and families in your care. Sending strength and love to take care of yourselves.
- S
Thank you is not enough. The world will be eternally grateful for your work and dedication. I pray for your strength and health. I will continue to social distance and wear my mask to help. You are not only heroes, but also angels. Thank you, thank you, thank you and God bless you.

I cannot find the words to thank you enough for all that you are doing to care for your patients. You are in my prayers.

I think of you every day and admire you for your courage. I empathize with how it must feel to push through the exhaustion and grief. You are in my thoughts and prayers, Sharman, retired RN

I am so grateful to all doctors, nurses, and medical staff. Thank you for the work you do. I am so sorry for all the idiots you have to deal with that deny the reality of this disease. I am a young person who cares about you. I wear a mask, take social distancing very seriously and stay away from everyone. I tell everyone I know to do the same. It is not a sacrifice at all. I care about you. Thank you for fighting and please take care of yourselves.
- E
