October 2025 – UCHealth is notifying patients about a nationwide manufacturer recall involving certain lots of atorvastatin (10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg and 80 mg) tablets. The recall was issued due to a possible quality concern. You can read more about the national recall here.
This recall affects only specific lot numbers of atorvastatin. Most prescriptions are not impacted.
If you filled an atorvastatin prescription at a UCHealth pharmacy within the past 90 days, our pharmacy team is reviewing records and will contact you directly if your medication is part of the affected lots.
What happens next:
- If your prescription is impacted, UCHealth will send you a replacement atorvastatin prescription at no cost, regardless of your insurance coverage.
- The replacement medication will be sent automatically. No action is needed on your part.
- If you have any symptoms or concerns, please contact your care team or UCHealth pharmacy.
