Our Vision: Improving Lives Through Transformational Health Research
UCHealth Research Administration supports research activities across 13 hospitals and numerous outpatient clinics throughout Colorado, southern Wyoming, and western Nebraska. Our team guides researchers through the systems, processes, compliance requirements, and regulatory activities necessary to conduct high‑quality medical research within UCHealth.
We provide oversight and support for any study involving UCHealth patients, staff, or resources (including the Epic electronic health record). For projects requiring Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Ethics Committee approval, our department helps with policy interpretation, EHR data requests, billing guidance, and pricing.
