As a primary care physician, my main goal is to construct an individualized care plan for each one of my patients based upon their medical needs and wishes. First and foremost, I believe it is of profound importance to establish a strong, collaborative relationship with my patients rooted in trust and confidentiality. I want my patients to feel fully engaged in their health care and to feel that they have the autonomy to dictate its focus and direction. Medicine is an art as much as it is a science, and my approach to preventative health and disease management may vastly differ from one patient to the next. I also believe that the mind and the body are inextricably linked. Delivering exceptional care requires caring for the entire being, and I make every attempt to approach diagnosis and treatment of medical issues with a holistic perspective. Most importantly, I treat my patients as if they are family. Ultimately, I hope to see my patients through years and years of their lives and to enhance their overall well-being, health and happiness.
My husband and I met in medical school in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Children’s Hospital of Colorado. When we are not at work, we spend as much time as we can with our two boys either in the mountains or traveling. I enjoy outdoor photography, skiing, tennis and golf. As long as I am outside and active I am happy!

I decided to specialize in Internal Medicine specifically because I enjoy seeing a wide variety of diseases and pathology. I enjoy managing fundamental Internal Medicine issues, such as diabetes, heart disease, COPD, and hypertension. I focus on trying to uncover the root of problems such as insomnia, fatigue, headaches, and weight-related challenges. In the end, however, I am most interested in that which interests my patients.
