My philosophy of care is centered on treating each patient as a whole person, not simply a diagnosis. I believe exceptional surgical care combines clinical expertise with compassion, clear communication, and genuine partnership with patients and their families. I strive to ensure patients feel heard, informed and supported throughout their surgical journey, from initial evaluation through recovery. My goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care while helping each patient achieve the best possible outcome and return to the life and activities that are important to them.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two children, and our red and blue heelers. As a family, we love being outdoors and staying active, whether we’re camping, paddleboarding, mountain biking, snowboarding or heading out on a rugged backpacking adventure. Some of my favorite memories are made exploring the outdoors together, and our dogs are always along for the adventure.

My clinical interests include general and bariatric surgery, with a particular focus on providing comprehensive care throughout the surgical journey. I enjoy helping patients understand their treatment options, preparing them for surgery, and supporting their recovery and long-term success. Within bariatric surgery, I am especially interested in the connections between surgical treatment, metabolic health, nutrition and sustainable lifestyle changes. I value a collaborative, patient-centered approach that combines evidence-based surgical care with individualized education and support to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
