I believe that palliative care is an essential service and benefits anyone experiencing serious illness. I am passionate about learning about each patient as an individual, not just a disease, and supporting patients in a way that reflects their beliefs, background, goals, and desires. There is no one-sized-fits-all approach to medicine. I also care deeply about patient education and ensuring that patients and their families feel educated and understood, and therefore empowered to participate in their care.

I am proud to be serving my community as a Physician Assistant (PA) and I am grateful a career that allows me to care for patients while collaborating with a healthcare team. I spent the first decade of my career in Cardiology and I look forward to bringing this experience to the palliative care group.

Outside of the hospital, I spend my time with my husband and two young boys. We enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, reading, traveling, and exploring the mountains. I was born and raised in Fort Collins and am grateful to have the opportunity to return to northern Colorado and raise my family here.
