I was first drawn to urology by the opportunity to solve impactful problems, and I find great personal satisfaction in work that brings lasting improvement in my patients’ health and quality of life. My clinical interests focus on the treatment of benign prostatic disease, complex kidney stones, men’s health, and prostate and renal malignancy. I believe building relationships with my patients is critical to working together towards our goals. I also believe in leveraging new techniques and technology when possible to minimize the interruption in their daily life. This includes the DaVinci robotic platform and laser enucleation for treatment of enlarged prostates. My professional interests also include medical device development. I completed a fellowship in device development at Northwestern and had the privilege to mentor several teams in the Innovation Center at UIC. I hope to apply this experience to the early-stage development of novel medical devices that further benefit patients’ experience and quality of care.
Outside of medicine, I am a Denver-native, and I am excited to be among family and friends and to enjoy all that Colorado has to offer with my wife and three daughters. #girldad
